The International is the biggest prize pool tournament in esports — and VAG888 offers full coverage from regional qualifiers all the way to the grand finals on the main stage. Dota 2 markets include series winner, map handicap, first blood, first Roshan kill, and a variety of compelling prop bets for die-hard fans of this classic title.
CS2 is one of the longest-running titles in competitive PC esports. At VAG888, we offer markets covering the ESL Pro League, BLAST Premier, IEM, and all prestigious CS2 majors. From map winner and round handicap to total rounds and first pistol kill — the CS2 markets at VAG888 are among the most comprehensive available.
Since its launch, Valorant has built a strong esports community across Asia Pacific — with teams like Paper Rex from Singapore becoming a source of regional pride. Free Fire has a massive player base in Malaysia — especially among younger mobile gamers. VAG888 covers the Free Fire World Series, FFML, and regional tournaments with markets updated to reflect the latest game meta and current team performance.
LoL remains one of the biggest esports titles in the world, with the World Championship as the premier annual event. VAG888 offers full coverage of Worlds, LCK Korea, LPL China, LEC Europe, and LCS North America — markets ranging from series winner to first kill, first tower, and first Baron Nashor, the prop bets seasoned bettors love most.
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship and PMPL Malaysia/SEA are among the tournaments with full coverage on VAG888. The multi-team battle royale format creates unique markets such as first team eliminated, total kills per team, and final ranking — all of which offer compelling odds compared to a standard head-to-head format.
Beyond the major titles, VAG888 also covers markets for StarCraft 2, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and several other niche e-sports titles with dedicated followings. The markets may not be as extensive as the big names, but the odds on offer are often more attractive given the lower competition in those markets.
Honor of Kings is gaining serious traction in Malaysia's esports scene on the back of an aggressive global rollout. VAG888 keeps a close eye on HoK's growth and offers coverage for major HoK tournaments — the World League and Asia-Pacific regional competitions that continue to expand in both viewership and competitive standard.

Five years ago, talking about "betting on esports" would have earned you a few skeptical looks. But today? Esports is a multi-billion MYR industry with professional leagues, highly paid players, and a following that rivals many traditional sports. In Malaysia especially, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is more than just a mobile game — it's a cultural phenomenon that unites millions of fans from Perlis to Sabah. At VAG888, we understand the edge that deep local knowledge gives fans when it comes to betting.
What sets esports betting apart from traditional sports betting is the pace of change within the esports ecosystem. The game meta can shift dramatically with every patch update — a dominant team one week may suddenly look vulnerable after a new patch reshuffles the balance of their favourite heroes or weapons. Bettors who keep up with meta developments hold a significant information edge over those who simply look at team names.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is the most important esports title for Malaysian players at VAG888. MPL Malaysia is the premier MLBB professional league, fuelling fierce competition among teams like Todak, EVOS Esports MY, RSG Malaysia, Team HAQ, and more. Malaysian fans who follow MPL closely know each team's playstyle, individual player strengths and weaknesses, and how each squad typically responds under pressure — valuable insight that rarely makes it into international coverage.
Todak, for instance, have long been known for an aggressive playstyle built on fast rotations and early game pressure. EVOS, on the other hand, tend to rely on their hyper-carry to engineer late-game comebacks. Understanding these distinct styles can help you spot value in niche markets such as "game 1 winner" or "total kills in the first 15 minutes" — markets that fewer people focus on but which often offer more attractive odds on VAG888.
The International is the only esports tournament where the total prize pool can exceed USD 40 million — a figure that surpasses many traditional world sporting events. At VAG888, coverage of The International begins from the regional qualifiers and runs all the way through to a potential epic Game 5 grand final. Dota 2 offers an exceptionally wide range of markets thanks to the game's complexity — from series winner and map handicap to first blood, first Roshan kill, and which team destroys the first barracks.
One key advantage of betting on Dota 2 at VAG888 is that Asia-Pacific teams — particularly those from China — tend to be undervalued by Western-facing markets, creating exploitable value opportunities for bettors who closely follow the LPL and LCK. Teams from our region often play a distinctly different style from their European or American counterparts, which can produce surprise results that the general market simply doesn't anticipate.
CS2 and Valorant have a mature, analytical community in Malaysia — players who don't just compete themselves but follow the professional scene closely. Both titles offer unique markets at VAG888 that don't exist in traditional sports — such as "winner of a specific map," "total rounds in overtime," or "which team wins the first pistol round." These micro-markets are ideal for players with in-depth knowledge of how a particular team plays on a given map.
A popular strategy for CS2 betting at VAG888 is to focus on individual map markets rather than the overall series winner. Inconsistent teams often have "signature" maps where their record is particularly strong — and the odds for those specific maps may not fully reflect their actual strength. Spotting the mismatch between a team's map record and the offered odds is one of the most effective ways to find value in esports betting.
In-play or live betting during a match is where the deep knowledge of Malaysian players truly shines at VAG888. In MLBB, for instance, when a team secures both the Lord and Dragon simultaneously at the 12-minute mark, their chances of winning that game rise dramatically. Yet the odds may not fully reflect this objective advantage if the market is still catching up. Players watching the live stream who can react within seconds have a clear edge.
VAG888 updates in-play odds for esports every few seconds, reflecting in-game developments in real time. For CS2, odds shift based on each team's economy, number of players alive, and map control. For MLBB, they change according to kill scores, towers destroyed, and major objectives secured. A bettor who watches the stream closely and understands the tactical implications of each in-game event can consistently find value in these in-play markets on VAG888.
Every new patch in MLBB, Dota 2, or Valorant can significantly shake up the team hierarchy. A team that dominated pre-patch may struggle after it if their core heroes or strategies get nerfed. Always check the patch notes before placing bets on any post-patch matches.
In CS2 and Valorant, a team's record on a specific map carries more weight than their overall win rate. A team can be dominant on one map and struggle badly on another. This kind of analysis gives you a real edge in individual map markets at VAG888.
Unlike online esports, LAN (Local Area Network) matches played in front of a live audience can have a real psychological effect on players. Teams competing in front of their home crowd often perform above expectations — a factor that isn't always fully reflected in the opening odds.
The esports world is a rapidly evolving ecosystem — new titles emerge, new teams rise, star players switch rosters, and the meta shifts constantly. At VAG888, we continuously update our tournament coverage and markets to ensure you always have access to the best betting opportunities across all major esports titles. Whether you're a casual fan placing your first MPL Malaysia bet or a seasoned bettor spending hours analysing Dota 2 stats before every wager — VAG888 is built to support every level of engagement.
